Meet Harley

I have a lovely female Chihuahua named Leia, two twin tabby cats named Alfie and Ellie, and my grumpy white cat, Sukie. Actually, since the twins came to live with us Sukie has calmed down a lot but her nature expression is of the evil variety.

Anyway, what I wanted to tell you was that there will soon be an addition to our family and I am SO excited. I have picked out and reserved an African Pygmy Hedgehog and named her Harley. Harley is currently 5 weeks old so maybe in 2-3 weeks she will be coming home.

Home is where the heart is

I realise that the title of the blog is a little strange but my reason is simple, I have recently returned to the Close where I grew up and it feels very strange!

I inherited my parent's house in April and the last few weeks have been spent changing it enough for the memories not to be too painful.

The neighbours are still the same as when I lived here previously, so I guess all my past misdemeanors will come back to haunt me at some stage - but don't worry, I will be sure to share them with you :-)
